Sydney, 2014

I was at an art exhibition in Sydney when I discovered this amazing piece of art. The second I saw it I wanted to create something of my own here. In order to make this work I knew I needed to wait for someone with black and white clothing. I’ve taken photos of may people standing in front of it, but this wonderful woman with the black and white cross stripes turned out to be the final piece of the puzzle. Unfortunately I may not have seen much of the rest of the exhibition that day, but at least I created a piece of art myself that made my day. I gave it the title “Maxminimal”, because it is so incredibly reduced and rich in detail at the same time.

London Calling! Maximinimal at the Sony World Photography Award Exhibition 2015

On May 1st 2015 we flew to London, because Marius' artwork Maximinimal was exhibited at the Sony World Photography Awards Exhibition 2015 in the Somerset House in London from April 24th till May 10th 2015. Unfortunately Marius' didn’t win the competition. However, the people from the World Photography Organization loved Maximinimal so much that they wanted to use it to advertise for the exhibition. They told Marius there would be a billboard with his artwork - so we packed our bags to check out where it was. Read more about it in our Blog Post or watch the Video we made below.
